COBOL Programming and Find in Files
Programmer Studio provides advanced editing capabilities for files containing line numbers, the Code Editor in this example has removed the line numbers from the editable text to simplify the editing process. This screen shot also illustrates how a resulting find-in-files search can highlight results automatically.

Integrated Server-Based Debugger Support
Using a TELNET session, the Programmer Studio IDE provides the ability to run a debug target under one of the listed symbolic debuggers. Once started, the user can then control the debug target without leaving the Programmer Studio IDE.

Code Friendly Spell Checker
Programmer Studio's integrated multi-language spell checker not only provides standard document checking options but also supports checking quoted strings in programming code. This allows the user to quickly spell check all text used in screen and printer output at the click of a button.

Code Navigator

Visual File Compare
Quickly and easily identify differences between two files using Programmer Studio's visual file compare. Programmer Studio uses your preferred external comparison utility, displaying the results in the output window and as a split view of both files. Support for DIFF and FC is provided.
