Programmer Studio - What's New
The powerful integrated visual development environment for server based
programming.
All new features and bug fixes in Programmer Studio 3.1 are listed
below. Please note, this list includes only those changes between the current
production release and the previous production release.
Version 3.1
Added support for Security/3000.
Added support for back-tab and wheel-mouse in the code editor.
Bookmarks for project files are now saved between sessions.
Added Getting Started menu item to the File menu to display the Getting
Started dialog box normally only displayed on Start-up.
The popup MPE login dialog box now supports masking passwords.
Fixed bug in Cognos Powerhouse compiler error highlighting which could
return an incorrect number of errors detected in the compiler output.
Fixed bug which would continually start a new session of Programmer Studio when
using the command line parameters to open a file in Windows NT.
Fixed bug in our HPe3000 command interpreter which delayed the initial response
to any command by 10 seconds.
Fixed bug in our HPe3000 server software which could close a connection when
cancelling a find-in-files.
Fixed bug when creating new COBOL files which could additionally write COBOL85
line tokens. These files would then fail to save on MPE.
Fixed bug in compiler output masks which prevented $(ScanUp) and $(ScanFor) from
being included in the same mask.
Fixed bug which would display open files in a 'restored' position after
selecting to save changes to an open file when prompted after closing the file.
Fixed bug in file open dialog box which resulted in the user having
to enter a fully qualified filename if the 'disable initial directory listing'
option was enabled and a project had no root directory.
