Chapter 3  HP RXForecast and the Forecasting Process 

This chapter introduces you to the forecasting process and how you can
apply it to HP RXForecast.  This process will assist you in producing
more accurate and reliable forecasts. 

There are five steps in the forecasting process:

   1.  Collecting data.

   2.  Selecting data.

   3.  Producing the forecast.

   4.  Validating the results.

   5.  Reforecasting as necessary.

Each of these steps is explained in detail in the rest of this chapter.
