Running Tests with Screens
To run all the tests with screens:
1. At the MPE prompt, enter:
RUN PPCDIAG.PPC.SYS
2. At the Main Screen, enter X beside Resource Sharing.
3. Choose Perform Tests f1 to start all the tests.
The Test Results Screen is displayed as soon as the tests begin.
4. A flashing message is displayed in the Result column as each test
is performed:
*** Testing ***
Another message informs you of the results of each test as it is
completed.
The Verification, Go/No Go, CHKDISC and Table Utilizations Tests
can also be run from the Advanced Functions screen.

NOTE The two Verification Tests listed on the Advanced Functions
screen will produce identical results using screens. The
two separate tests are used with commands to produce either
a summary of verification results or a full list of all the
modules and versions found.

To run a single test:
1. At the Main Screen, enter an X beside Resource Sharing.
2. Choose Advanced Functions f6.
The Advanced Functions screen appears.
3. Select one (or any number) of the tests by typing X beside the
test name.
4. Choose Perform Tests f1.
Results are displayed when the test is complete.
Displaying Configuration Information
Follow these instructions to display configuration information for
Resource Sharing:
To display configuration information:
1. At the Main Screen, enter an X beside Resource Sharing.
2. Choose Config Screen f3.
The Configuration screen appears. Information displayed for
Resource Sharing includes:
* Product ID: Product identification code
* Product Number: HP product number
* Product Name: Resource Sharing
* Diagnostic Pgm: Program name of the product diagnostic
* Diagnostic Catalog: Message catalog for the product
diagnostic
NOTE Event logging is also displayed on the Configuration screen.
Logging is not available for Resource Sharing.
