Information Access Server: Planning and Configuring

Phase E. Configuring Files

At this point, you're ready to configure the files your PC users need to
access.

You can configure files without a group and account by using file
equations that you set up. The file equation itself can be generated in
Access PC with logon UDCs or in an IAFILE. In a Host Batch environment,
file equations can be generated with logon UDCs, the IAFILE, or in the
job stream before running Host Batch. See Chapters 4 and 12 in the
Information Access Server: Database Administration manual.

If you used Phase C and are back in MPE, you must first re-enter the
Administrator Utility.
