Information Access Server: Database Administration

Chapter 3  Configuring Remote HP 3000 Systems 

If your PC users need to access information residing not on the host HP
3000 but on a remote HP 3000, you must define that remote system in the
data dictionary.

In this chapter are procedures, screen descriptions, and reference
information to help you define remote HP 3000 systems.

The following figure from the Information Access Server:  Learning the 
Administrator Utility manual shows where the tasks in this chapter appear
in the configuration process.


            


NOTE  Remote HP 3000 systems must be connected to the host through a
      DS/X.25 or an NS/3000 link.
