HP LaserRX/MPE Installation Addendum

Preparation 

To prepare for HP LaserRX/MPE host installation, you must do the
following:

   *   Back up files in the SCOPE.SYS and PPC.SYS groups.

   *   Choose the correct installation files for the version of the HP
       3000 operating system on which you are installing HP LaserRX/MPE.

Choosing the Correct Installation Files 

You will install the host files from the "Host Software Install" flexible
disks.  These disks contain LaserRX installation files for several
different versions of the MPE operating system.  The files for the MPE V
operating system are on a single disk labeled "MPE V Host Software
Install."

The following files are transferred to the host during the MPE V
installation of version G.02.00 (UB-MIT) or later:

   *   TRUCK.HSL
   *   UHAUL.HST
   *   BUILDRX.TXT

The following files are transferred to the host during the MPE XL version
installation:

   *   TRUCK1.HSL
   *   TRUCK2.HSL
   *   One of the following:
          *   TRUCK22.HSL - for MPE XL version A.41.00 (2.2)
          *   TRUCK30.HSL - for MPE XL version B.30.00 (3.0), B.31.00
              (3.1)
          *   TRUCK40.HSL - for MPE XL version B.40.00 (4.0)
