General X.25 Configuration
The General X.25 screen (#159) in figure 7-5 is displayed when you press
the [Go To X25] function key at the Protocol Configuration screen (figure
7-4). It is also displayed when you type the path name:
@NETXPORT.NI.NIname.PROTOCOL.X25
in the Command window of any screen and press the [Enter] key, where
NIname is a configured X.25 NI.

Use the fields and the function keys of the select screen to perform the
desired action. Press the [Save Data] function key to transfer the data
displayed on the screen to the configuration file you are creating or
updating. Verify that the data record has been created by checking that
the Data flag is set to Y.
Fields
Inactivity timer for IP (Required.) Enter a number of seconds after
connections (in seconds) which any inactive switched virtual circuits
(SVC) being used for TCP/IP connections are
automatically disconnected. If no inactivity
timer is to be set, enter a 0 in this field.
It is best to set this timer at more than two
times the value of the TCP connection assurance
timer. This keeps the X.25 virtual circuit for
a remote session active, even when no user data
is being transferred.
Default value: 1210
Range: 0, 30-32767
