Caring for Your Magneto-Optical Disks 

Some everyday usage precautions you should take are:

   *   Do not expose the disk to extreme magnetic fields.

   *   Do not expose disk to dust particles.

   *   Avoid extreme temperatures or extreme humidity.

   *   Avoid dropping the disk.

   *   Do not open the shutter and touch the disk surface.

   *   Do not take the disk apart.

   *   Store your disk in the plastic case when it is not in use.

   *   Remove the old label before putting on the new one.


NOTE  Magneto-Optical drives may need periodic cleaning if they are
      located in dusty environments.  Contact your HP representative for
      information and cleaning accessories.
