Display Server Not Started Message A protocol module error was detected by NetIPC; PM error = 8. REMOTE ABORTED THE CONNECTION. (SOCKERR 64) Error: Can't Open display Possible cause The display node name as specified on the HP 3000 host in the DISPLAY variable or on the command line is that of a valid, responding node; however, an X display server is not running on that node. Action Ensure that the X display server process is started and functioning on the workstation. This is usually accomplished through the x11start command on the workstation.
