Chapter 2  System Startup 

This chapter briefly describes the procedures for starting a previously
installed system.  Procedures for installing and starting a new system
are described in chapter 1, "Installing Your System".

You might execute a system startup after the following activities:

 *  After changing the system configuration.

 *  After updating system software.

 *  After an involuntary system shutdown.


NOTE  When you are instructed to make an entry, always follow it with a
      Return unless instructed not to.
