Copying Volume Sets and Volumes
The following commands are used to copy files from one volume set or
volume to another.
Copying a Volume Set
To copy all or part of a volume set, enter:
volutil:COPYSET SNAME=setname FROM= TO=
The set's master volume must be copied before any other volume in the set
can be copied. The volume copied must be in the LONER state. The target
volume must be in the UNKNOWN or SCRATCH state.
Copying a Volume
To copy a volume, enter:
volutil:COPYVOL FROM= TO=
The volume copied must be in the LONER, SCRATCH, or UNKNOWN state. The
target volume must be in the SCRATCH or UNKNOWN state.
