5.  Using SYSGEN (Reconfiguring the System) 

At this point, MPE XL is configured to the default settings supplied on
the factory tape in the default configuration group.

If you wish to leave your system configured to these settings, use the
SYSGEN utility to save the settings to the configuration group CONFIG.

To copy the configuration files to CONFIG, follow these steps:

   1.  Enter:

            :SYSGEN 

       SYSGEN uses the configuration you used for starting the system as
       the default base group.

   2.  Add any devices on your system that are not already configured in
       the factory supplied configuration.  Add the system disks at this 
       time.  See Guide for the New System Operator (32650-90137).

   3.  Make any other configuration changes that are required.  Refer to
       chapter 4, "System Configuration."

   4.  Save the configuration:

     sysgen>KEEP CONFIG 

     sysgen>EXIT 

Otherwise, use the SYSGEN utility to configure the system to your
particular requirements.

To add either system or nonsystem volumes use the VOLUTIL utility.
