Appendix F  MPE/iX Commands for System Administration 

This appendix identifies the HP CD extensions system administration tasks
that you can perform from the HP 3000 command line.  The following table
shows each task and the corresponding command you need to enter.  The
Media Manager should not be running when you enter these commands. 

To do this               Type

Mount a CD-ROM disk       
                              :RUN CDMGR.PUB.SYS;INFO="MOUNT 4"

Mount all CD-ROM disks    
                              :RUN CDMGR.PUB.SYS;INFO="MOUNT ALL" 

--------------------------------------------------------------------

Dismount a CD-ROM disk    
                              :RUN CDMGR.PUB.SYS;INFO="DISMOUNT 4"

Dismount all CD-ROM       
disks                         :RUN CDMGR.PUB.SYS;INFO="DISMOUNT ALL"

List CD-ROM devices

List PC connections

Disconnect a PC           
                              :RUN CDMGR.PUB.SYS;INFO="DISCONNECT 4"

Terminate the server
