Mounting and Dismounting a CD-ROM Disk
Before you can access a CD-ROM disk, you must mount the disk as a known
volume. When you are ready to remove the disk from the CD-ROM drive, you
have to dismount the CD-ROM drive first.
NOTE If you dismount a CD-ROM disk while a user is accessing the drive,
the client software displays the message "Not ready reading drive"
on the PC. To continue, mount an ISO-9660 CD-ROM on the PC. The
client software quits and returns the user to the root directory,
where the user can restart the operation.
In the following examples, 4 is the LDEV number of the CD-ROM disk.
Replace 4 with the LDEV number of your disk.
To mount a CD-ROM disk, type:
CDMGR>MOUNT 4
To mount all CD-ROM disks, type:
CDMGR>MOUNT ALL
To dismount a CD-ROM disk, type:
CDMGR>DISMOUNT 4
To dismount all CD-ROM disks, type:
CDMGR>DISMOUNT ALL
