Running CDSERVER

Your HP 3000 network must be running before you can start CDSERVER.

To start the network, type:

     :NETCONTROL START;NET=LOOP
     :NETCONTROL START;NET=LAN1
     :NSCONTROL START;SERVER=ALL

You must have System Manager or Operator capability (with Save Files
capability for PUB.SYS) to run CDSERVER.

To start CDSERVER, type:

     :STREAM CDSTARTJ.PUB.SYS

If you want to start CDSERVER automatically each time you start your HP
3000 system, add this command to your SYSSTART file. Make sure you place
it after any commands used to start the network.

NOTE Only one instance of the server and one instance of the Media Manager can run concurrently on your HP 3000 system. If you try to run a second instance, the system displays a message that another instance is already running.
