HP RXForecast Users Manual for MPE Systems

The HP RXForecast Commands 

This section explains the three commands added to the HP LaserRX/MPE
menus when you installed HP RXForecast:

These commands are enabled when you open a logfile.

To use HP RXForecast, do the following:

   1.  Run HP LaserRX/MPE.

   2.  Open the local logfile, TRAPPER.PRF, in your LASERRX directory.

       Use TRAPPER.PRF from the CD only if you were unable to copy it to
       your hard disk.

RXForecast Options Command 

When you installed HP RXForecast, the HP LaserRX/MPE Configure menu was
altered to add the RXForecast Options command.

You use the RXForecast Options command in a way that is similar to the way you use HP LaserRX/MPE commands under the Configure menu; that is, to set default options. When you use the RXForecast Options command, you get a dialog box, which is displayed below with its initial defaults.

Important If the dialog box on your screen does not match the one shown above, change the options until it matches exactly.
These three options are explained in greater detail later in this chapter. Forecasts Command When you install HP RXForecast, the Forecasts command is added to the HP LaserRX/MPE Draw menu.

When you invoke the Forecasts command, you get the following dialog box:

By clicking NEXT, you can access the second screen of the Forecasts command dialog box. This second dialog box is commonly referred to as the NEXT screen.

Application name and business unit file choices that you make on the NEXT screen appear on the Forecasts command dialog box. Stats Command When you install HP RXForecast, the Stats command is added to the HP LaserRX/MPE Zoom menu.

You use the Stats command to display a statistical report on a forecast. The Stats command is described in greater detail later in this chapter.
