Available Logfiles Option 

The Available Logfiles option is an unlabeled list box that appears on
the Forecasts command dialog box.


            

The Available Logfiles option lists the logfiles that are currently open
and available.  If the highlighted logfile contains application data, the
Metrics option list box will list application metrics as well as global
metrics.  Furthermore, the Application Names list box on the NEXT screen
will list available applications.

Click on the name of the logfile that you want to use for forecast data.
The last logfile opened is the default selection.

The highlighted logfile (accented with a dark bar) will be the source for
graphs you display.  The logfile name consists of the first 10 characters
of the System ID (specified in the collection PARM file) and the fully
qualified MPE or MS-DOS file name.

If you select a new logfile, the Start, Stop, and Validate dates on the
Forecasts command dialog box are reset.  Start is set to the first day of
the logfile; Stop and Validate are set to the last day.
