HP RXForecast Users Manual for MPE Systems

Chapter 1  HP RXForecast Software Installation 

You will be installing HP RXForecast in the same directory on your PC
where HP LaserRX/MPE resides.  The installation procedure adds HP
RXForecast functionality to HP LaserRX/MPE.


NOTE  You should back up the directory in which HP LaserRX/MPE resides
      before installing HP RXForecast.


Follow the procedure below to install HP RXForecast on your PC:

   1.  Back up the directory in which HP LaserRX/MPE resides.

   2.  Insert the HP RXForecast flexible disc in drive A.

   3.  Type A: to change to the A drive.

   4.  Type INSTALL.

Respond to the prompts from INSTALL. You will be asked to customize HP
RXForecast with your name (or whatever name or organization you want to
appear in the Licensed to:  block of the About command dialog box).

To verify installation of HP RXForecast, start HP LaserRX/MPE. You should
see an About command dialog box similar to the following: 


            

The About command dialog box is always displayed at startup.  It will go
away after 7 seconds or if you click on  OK.

Every time you start HP RXForecast, the window is maximized.  The
maximized window makes it more convenient to use the Help system.  When
you installed HP RXForecast, the Help file was updated to include HP
RXForecast Help. 

Help is always F1.
