Running Disc Manager 

To run DISCMGR: 

   1.  Log on to the HP 3000 server.

   2.  Enter the command to run DISCMGR.

       If a UDC was created to run DISCMGR, enter the UDC name at the MPE
       prompt.

       If there is no UDC set up, enter the appropriate command:

            RUN DISCMGR.PPC.SYS

                   OR 

            DISCMGR.PPC.SYS

       The screen displays the DISCMGR banner and prompt.

If you use the AUTOCONN file to establish connections automatically (see
Chapter 13, "Basic Disc Manager Tasks"), DISCMGR lists the connections
alphabetically, with the first connection in the list acting as the
default connection.  The following message appears before the prompt:

Default automatic connections established.

The prompt would have the disc letter of the default connection
associated with it, as shown here:
