About Disc Manager
The Disc Manager Utility (DISCMGR) provides commands that allow you to
connect to a shared disc and use shared disc files and subdirectories.
They can be grouped into three categories, based on function:
* Connection commands --Use these commands to connect to the shared
disc, set up automatic connections, and delete connections:
USE
AUTOCONNECT
SAVECONNECT
DELETECONNECT
* Copy and conversion commands --With these commands you can copy
DOS files from one shared disc or subdirectory to another. You
can also use them to convert DOS-formatted files on your shared
disc into MPE format for storage in your MPE fileset, and the
reverse. These commands are:
DOSTOMPE
MPETODOS
COPY
* DOS-emulation commands --These commands let you work with shared
disc files and subdirectories in the same way you use DOS commands
on a PC. For example, you can rename files and directories, change
directories, remove files and directories, and make new
directories. These commands are:
CHDIR
