Chapter 8  Running the Resource Manager Utility 

The Resource Manager Utility (RESMGR) lets you create and share network
resources on an HP 3000 with PC and terminal users.  With RESMGR you can
perform these tasks:

   *   Share DOS files by establishing shared discs on the HP 3000 that
       several users can access.
   *   Share network devices such as printers or plotters.
   *   Back up and recover shared disc files.

This chapter provides information about:

   *   Running RESMGR
   *   How to use RESMGR
   *   Basic RESMGR functions
   *   Getting help while using RESMGR
   *   Leaving RESMGR
