DEL 

The DEL command deletes one or more files from a shared disc.  It is
identical to the ERASE command.

Abbreviation:  None

DEL [drive:][path]filename 

drive:           Drive of the file(s) you want to delete.

path             Any valid DOS path to the file(s) you want to delete.

filename         File or fileset (with wildcards) to be deleted.

Use standard DOS wildcards in a DEL command to specify precisely the
files you want to delete.  For example, this command deletes all the
files in directory J: with the extension .BAK:

     DEL J:*.BAK
