COPY
The COPY command copies one or more files from one shared disc or
directory to another. You can retain both copies of a file or transfer a
single copy and purge the source file.
To stop the copy, press CTRLY. If you stop the copy of multiple files,
you will see the following prompt:
CTRL-Y detected. Do you want to continue the copy (Y/N)?
If you want to continue the copy, enter Y. If you do not want to continue
the copy, enter N, and DISCMGR reports the number of files that were
already copied.

COPY sourcefile TO targetfile[;options]
sourcefile and Shared disc DOS files that must be in one of the
targetfile following formats:
drive:dosfile
(J:FILE1.TXT or J:\DIR1\DIR2\FILE1.TXT)
dosfile
(FILE1.TXT or \DIR1\DIR2\FILE1.TXT)
MPE:\account\group\dosfile
(MPE:\SYS\ADMIN\DIR1\DIR2\FILE1.TXT)
If you have SM capability, you can connect to a shared
disc in any group or account. If you have AM
capability, you can connect to a shared disc in any
group within your account.

options SHOW--Displays the files as they are being copied. To
send the list to a printer, use the DMLIST file equation
(see Chapter 14, "Advanced Uses of Disc Manager").
MOVE--Purges sourcefile after the copy completes.
REPLACE--Indicates targetfile replaces any existing file
with the same name.
TREE--Duplicates the source DOS tree structure on target
shared disc. When using this option, the source file
and the target file must be subdirectory names. Wild
card characters can't be used in the COPY command when
using the TREE option.
For example, to move the file FILE1.TXT from the J: shared disc to the M:
shared disc, enter:
COPY J:FILE1.TXT TO M:*.*;MOVE
