PC Users Running a Previous Release of Access PC While the current release of Access Server (A.05.00) is backward compatible with previous releases of Access PC, PC users running the old software will be unable to use certain features that depend on having the latest software on both sides of the PC-to-host link. PC users running the release of Access PC prior to A.03.00 (A.02.02) will be unable to use the the following A.03.00 features of Access Server: * Use an X.25 connection between the PC and the host HP 3000. * Use the Host Batch Facility to initiate batch jobs on the HP 3000. * Upload PC data to the host HP 3000. PC users running the three releases of Access PC prior to A.05.00 will be unable to use the A.05.00 features of Access Server. These features include: * View table functionality with the SQL command in PC batch * The ability to sort up to 16 items with remote tables * The ability to JOIN up to 16 tables with remote tables For a complete list of all the A.05.00 features of Access Server, see "What is New in This Version" in "About This Manual."
