Specifying the Dictionary
You use the Dictionary/3000 screen to specify a Dictionary/3000 data
dictionary from which you want to translate some of the entries to your
Information Access data dictionary.
You can specify a Dictionary/3000 data dictionary on the remote HP
3000system. The remote system needs to have been previously defined in
the Information Access data dictionary using the Add Remote HP 3000
System (A3) screen.
With the information you provide on this screen, the utility opens the
specified dictionary and displays the names of the databases defined in
it.
The Dictionary/3000 Information screen looks like this. Table 11-2
describes the fields in the screen.

To Specify a Dictionary/3000 Data Dictionary:.
1. If the data dictionary name is not DICT, type in the correct name.
Also type in the group, account, remote HP 3000 system (if any),
and the dictionary password.
2. Press Enter.
An attempt is made to open the dictionary.
If the attempt fails, an error message appears and the incorrect
field is highlighted. Correct the highlighted information and
press Enter to try again to specify the dictionary.
3. When the screen returns after you specify your databases, you can
specify another dictionary.
4. To exit the utility, choose Exit TRANS f8.
