Information Access Server: Database Administration

Chapter 4  Configuring Data Sources 

Tables that PC users can access through Access Server are derived from
data that already exists on an HP 3000.  But before you can define such
tables, you must first identify the data source from which to gather the
information.

The data source can be a

   *   Database on a host or remote HP 3000
   *   File on a host or remote HP 3000

In this chapter you will find procedures, screen descriptions, and
reference information to help you:

   *   Use the Data Sources Menu
   *   Define a database as an HP 3000 data source
   *   Define a file as an HP 3000 data source
