Chapter 10 Performing Manual Tasks to Get Your System Ready for Use This chapter includes information about manually setting up your operating system, as well as setting up your terminals and printers to communicate with your system. This chapter is to be used if for some reason you cannot use the EZCONFIG.MPEXL and MKACCT command file setup instructions provided in Chapter 4 "Getting Your System Ready For Use." Once your complete system is operating, you will begin setting up the accounts, users, and groups for your computer environment. When this is completed, you will need to refer to Chapter 5 "Creating a System Recovery Tape" in order to generate a system recovery tape to include all the changes you have made resulting from the setup and configuration process.
