Chapter 5  Configuring and Maintaining Proactive Patching 

PSCONFIG includes two items on a "Configure Proactive Patching" menu:

   *   enable tracking of the software and patches installed on your
       systems
   *   add a group ID used to group your systems for identification and
       remote support

Also, when an HP Response Center Engineer recommends it, you can use the
Maintenance Menu to resend the software and patch lists that help the HP
Response Center to track the inventory of the software and patches
installed on your systems.

The resend function starts an HP Predictive Support run to build a
PSIFILE (a product and software inventory file) and transfer it to the HP
Response Center.
