HP Predictive Support's MEMSCAN utility works with other system components to provide you with a higher availability system by analyzing and diagnosing potential memory board failures. MEMSCAN does this by checking the state of the system's Page Deallocation Table (on 995 and 991 systems only) and by trending data in on-line Diagnostics logs. If persistent errors occur, indicating a potential board failure, your HP Response Center will be notified. MEMSCAN helps reduced unplanned down time by detecting and resolving problems before they occur.
