Service Contract Conditions and Limitations
Coverage by the HP Predictive Support system is standard under all HP
3000 MPE/iX SuccessLine hardware contracts for those who are
participating in the Hewlett-Packard remote support program. Any
required onsite assistance is scheduled at a mutually convenient time
within support contract coverage hours. HP Predictive Support is
designed to assist HP with early identification of potential hardware
problems. As with all malfunctions, HP is not responsible if HP
Predictive Support does not identify or remedy system or peripheral
problems prior to their actual occurrence.
HP Predictive Support is provided exclusively as part of the HP
SuccessLine hardware support contract. HP will remove the HP Predictive
Support software if the hardware support contract is terminated.
HP Predictive Support is a proprietary HP software product that has been
designed exclusively for use with Hewlett-Packard products. Non-HP
products are not supported by the HP Predictive Support system and should
not be configured into the HP Predictive Support software. If the HP
Predictive Support software compares the errors from a non-HP product to
records based on historical failures of HP devices, inaccurate and
misleading reports will result.
