Code Word Maintenance
As with the utility menus, you should access the Configure Code Word Menu
only when recommended.
To reach the Configure Code Word Menu:
* From the Main Menu: Type 4 8 or configure code.
* From the Configuration Options Menu: Type 8 or code.
This displays the Configure Code Word Menu:

Entering a Code Word
You can enter a code word on this menu. A code word can be manually
entered because electronic file transfer is not used, site requirements
are not met or are non-operational (for example, the phone line is bad),
or there are support contract problems. The code word must be valid and
in hexadecimal format, or it will not be accepted.
To manually enter a code word,
1. Type 1 or code.
2. Type in the new code word when prompted.
NOTE Code word changes are saved immediately upon acceptance (this menu
does not go through the same save sequence as do other
configuration menus).
