HP LaserRX/MPE Software Update Notice
What You Will Need
The data collection component of the HP LaserRX/MPE software, called HP
Performance Collection Software or the SCOPE collector, must be installed
on each HP 3000 computer you want to monitor. The collection software is
not provided on the flexible disks that contain the PC software (the
analysis component).
First-time buyers of HP LaserRX/MPE receive an MPE SUBSYS tape containing
the HP Performance Collection Software.
Existing customers who are monitoring MPE/iX systems and who want to use
the new sockets connection feature of HP LaserRX/MPE must update the
collection software on their HP 3000 systems. You can get the latest
version of the collection software in one of the following ways:
* Request an MPE/iX SUBSYS tape, version 5.0, Express II release or
later, containing the HP Performance Collection Software from your
HP support representative.
* Request the latest version of software patch LRXHX04 for HP
LaserRX/MPE from your HP support representative. This patch works
for MPE/iX version B.40.00 (4.0) and later.

EtherTwist, etc.)
* Approximately 60 MB of disk storage for HP LaserRX/MPE logfiles.
