Filing A user has potentially three areas for filing items in HP Desk. First, there is the Filing Cabinet where messages and other items of personal filing can be kept. A user may also have access to a workgroup library that can be integrated with HP Desk, provided by the HP File/Library option. Access to the library is determined by the user's membership of HP Desk capability groups. The way HP Desk manages filing in HP File/Library is explained in the manual HP File/Library Administration. In addition, the user of an HP Desk installation that has installed HP OfficeConnect to DISOSS can access the library held by IBM's DISOSS office system on a mainframe computer, perhaps at their corporate headquarters.
