Volume Management

UNCONFIG 

UNCONFIG unconfigures a currently configured device.  This command is
used dynamically to remove a device from the system's configuration.
This releases the corresponding LDEV and physical path, making them
available for reassignment with the CONFIGURE command.

Task 

Unconfigures a device.

Capability 

No special capability required.

Syntax 

     UNCONFIG [LDEV=] ldev 

Parameter 

ldev                  The logical device number of the device to be
                      unconfigured.  Required. 

Example 

This example shows how to use the UNCONFIG command.
