Chapter 7 System Backup This chapter briefly describes the procedures for performing a system backup. It explains the steps required to: * Prepare for a system backup. * Back up system and user directories and files. * Create an MPE V/E compatible backup tape. You might use the described procedures to: * Execute an incremental backup. * Perform a full backup. * Back up the system configuration.
