Parameters -f filename Track specified file/message. -M MPDU-ID Track a message by the specified mpdu-id. If MPDU-ID contains a blank, MPDU-ID must be contained in quotation marks. For example, x4msgtrack -M "US ATTMAIL." MPDU-ID is case-sensitive. -p path Search specified path for X.400 event log files. This option can only be used when the -t option is used. If this option is not used but the -t is used, all messages are tracked. -O originator Tracks messages by the specified originator. The specified orginator is compared to the originator fields in the MTA event log. For example, if you specify "us" as the originator, any message with "us" in the originator field is displayed (for instance, "GIV=Susan"). If the originator contains a blank, the originator must be contained in quotation marks. For example, x4msgtrack -O "SUR=Smith GIV=Susan." -R recipient Tracks messages by the specified recipient. The specified recipient is compared to the recipient fields in the MTA event log. For example, if you specify "us" as the recipient, any message with "us" in the recipient field is displayed (for instance, "GIV=Susan"). If the recipient contains a blank, the recipient must be contained in quotation marks. For example, x4msgtrack -R "SUR=Smith GIV=Susan." -F from_time Tracks messges in a certain time range. Specify the time from which tracking starts. Enter the time using the following format: MM/DD-hh:mm:ss where MM is the month, DD is the day, hh is the hour, mm is the minute, and ss is the second. A "from" time must be specified if a "to" time is specified. -T to_time Tracks messages in a certain time range. Specify the time to which tracking ends. [If you specify a "from" time but no "to" time, the current date and time are used as the "to" time.] Enter the time using the following format: MM/DD-hh:mm:ss where MM is the month, DD is the day, hh is the hour, mm is the minute, and ss is the second. Description The x4msgtrack command tracks messages within X.400. x4msgtrack searches the X.400 event logs and prints out the events logged for the specified message.
