Problems After Installing 

Cannot Start the Server 

The device files were not created.  During installation, device files are
created for the links already configured in NMMGR. If you add a new LAN
link or token-ring link after installing NetWare, you must create the
device file as described in Chapter 1, Verify Link Configuration, using
the mknod command.
