Appending Text to the Cut/Paste Buffer

When you perform a Copy To Buffer command, the contents of the Cut/Paste
buffer are replaced with the new marked block of text. The Copy And
Append to Buffer command, however, does not erase the contents of the
Cut/Paste buffer. The marked text is added to the existing contents of
the buffer. This command is useful when you want to collect blocks of
text from different parts of the file before pasting the entire contents
of the buffer in a new location.

A corresponding Cut And Append To Buffer command is also available in HP
EDIT. This command is not accessible from a function key. To learn more
about these commands, see the HP EDIT Reference Manual.
