MPE XL Command Interpreter Error Messages 

When an MPE XL command interpreter error or warning occurs, the error
number is displayed along with the parameter number.  (If the error is a
file system error, the file system error code is printed instead of the
parameter number.)

The formats of the MPE XL command interpreter error messages and warnings
are:

     ****  MPE COMMAND ERROR:  x,y 

     ****  MPE COMMAND WARNING:  x,y 

x is a digit specifying an MPE XL command interpreter error or warning
number.  (To interpret these numbers, run MSGUTIL.PUB.SYS. Enter the
number 2 when asked for Subsystem Number.

If y is positive, it refers to a file system error code.  If y is
negative, it specifies the beginning character (column number) of the
parameter that was in error.
