HP GlancePlus for MPE/iX 60-Day Trial Software by Jim Jen Software Technology Division HP GlancePlus for MPE/iX, the Hewlett-Packard powerful and easy-to-use on-line performance tool, enables you to maximize system performance by quickly pinpointing system bottlenecks. It has just been enhanced with new and exciting features. A one-time, 60-day trial copy which includes these enhancements is now available to you with the installation of MPE/iX release 5.0. For more information, see file GLREADME in the PUB.SYS group after you have installed this release. The HP GlancePlus expert system helps you analyze your system's performance. It uses a configurable set of rules to identify bottlenecks, tell you the reasons they were identified, and make suggestions to improve performance. Installing the GlancePlus trial copy is a simple, quick procedure. It is important not to begin the installation until you are ready to use it. The 60-day trial period begins at installation and only one trial is allowed on each system. Even if you are not currently interested in this trial, it is recommended you keep the trial copy files on your system to aid the Response Center in critical problem diagnosis. The three trial copy files are GLREADME, GLTRUCK, and GLUNPACK in the PUB.SYS group.
