Support for FTP Plus is divided into two categories, please select the category into which you fall to determine what level of assistance is available. Unless otherwise indicated support is limited only to the period determined by the license.

FTP Explorer on HP3000
This screen shot of the FTP Explorer displays the contents of a specific MPE/iX group. The list view columns provide details on each file's MPE file characteristics including File Code, Block Size, EOF etc. This shot also shows the context menu offering options for file transfer, renaming, deleting, opening the file in Edit PLUS and even streaming a suspected job file.

FTP Explorer on Unix
FTP Explorer supports most standard Unix FTP servers, in the screen shot the tree view to the left displays the file system expanded from the server icon. FTP Plus uses file extensions to determine what actions can be performed using the standard Windows Explorer file associations, in this screen shot the file extension of the selected file supports, Open, Edit and Print.

FTP Explorer on DEC VMS
On DEC VMS, FTP Explorer displays the specific VMS file characteristics including size, version, blocks used and blocks allocated. Specific VMS properties allow file version numbers to be included/excluded from a filename based on server connection.

Editing COBOL files using Edit PLUS
Edit PLUS provides many of the features found in standard Windows editors including enhanced features for users editing files which include numbered lines. In this example a COBOL file has been loaded with the option to remove the line numbers from the editable area. This allows the user to easily edit the file, automatically generating new line numbers when the file is saved.
