At times you may need to boot the system; for example, if you change the system's configuration or need to recover the operating system and software, you might need to boot your system.

Examples given are representative of booting up from the disk drive (Primary Boot Path) and booting up from a tape (Alternate Boot Path).
After you power on the system, a screen similar to the following appears on the console screen:
