Deletes an entry from the network directory.
Syntax
DELETENODE [nodename] [;LOCAL]

Parameters
- nodename
The name of a node to delete from the directory
in the format:
nodename.domain.organization
Each of the three names may be from one to sixteen characters
long, must begin with a letter, and may contain letters, digits,
underscores, or dashes.
If omitted, then all entries of the selected class in the
directory will be deleted.
- LOCAL
Designates that only local entries in the directory
are to be deleted.
- GLOBAL
Designates that only global entries in the directory
are to be deleted. This is the default class if neither keyword
is specified.
Description
DELETENODE deletes a single entry or all entries from the
currently opened network directory. If you issue this command from
a session, and do not specify nodename,
then you are prompted with a delete confirmation message and a yes/no
response is solicited to verify that you really want to delete all
entries from the directory.
Example
To delete a single node entry:
