Predictive
Hardware predictive (HP50779) has been modified to be year 2000 safe by
modifications to internal date comparison routines and database access methods.
Various other defect fixes which have been made since the release of MPE
release 5.5 are also rolled into the 6.0 version of hardware predictive.
HP MPE/iX Databases
ALLBASE/SQL
The ALLBASE/SQL functions TO_DATE and TO_DATETIME are
enhanced to handle two-digit years appropriately. For more information, refer
to the article, "New Features in ALLBASE/SQL Version G3," in the chapter,
"Technical Articles."
In SQLUtil, the SETUPRECOVERY command is used for roll-forward
recovery. SETUPRECOVERY accepts two-digit years as part of the date
specification. These two-digit years are interpreted as discussed in the
section, "Two-Digit Years Interpretation," in the article, "Year 2000
Enhancements for MPE/iX."
IMAGE/SQL and TurboIMAGE/XL
IMAGE/SQL and TurboIMAGE/XL use the ALLBASE/SQL TO_DATE and
TO_DATETIME functions to handle the two-digit years appropriately.
HP Stage/iX
HP Stage/iX can now handle dates with year greater than or equal to 2000
correctly (when the LIST command is used). It is now Y2K compliant.
