WOPEN AND WCLOSE INTRINSICS When using the WERRORINFO intrinsic a more meaningful error message is reported if an error is detected when calling either the WOPEN or the WCLOSE intrinsic. An error message will only be returned if a message catalog was specified with the last WOPEN. Prior to this release the error returned was a formatted string of numbers as is normally the case when the message catalog has not been opened. If the old method of reporting WOPEN and WCLOSE error messages is required then set the new JCW "HPWORDOLDERROR" to a non-zero value.
