HP BRW-Desk Now Available

HP BRW-Desk/XL is now available. This new product enables HP BRW/XL
users to mail reports and output files directly to HP Desk destinations.
The HP BRW-Desk/XL version number is A.00.00.
HP BRW-Desk/XL enhances HP BRW/XL by providing an HP Desk link. Users
can specify recipients of reports or output files at the time of
specifying reports. When the reports or files are generated, they are
electronically mailed to the recipients as specified.
The Key Features are:
* Reports or output files can be delivered via HP Desk.
* Reports or output files can be sent to fixed destinations or to
destinations stored in the Database.
* Multiple mailings can be generated to individual HP Desk addresses in
a single report run.
* Reports or files can be split and the portions mailed separately
according to a specific break in the report.
* Reports can be read and printed directly in the IN TRAY of HP Desk.
* HP Desk features concerning security, urgency, and acknowledgement
can be used.
* HP BRW reports, sent via HP Desk, can be deferred to optimize low
usage periods.
* Delivery audit trail messages are supplied.
This new product offers a way of delivering production reports and output
files to end-users, thus eliminating masses of hard-copy reports. It
enables the end-user to process the data further, using office
applications.
