COMMUNICATOR 3000/XL

TDP/V on MPE XL

TDP is the familiar text editor and formatter that runs on the HP 3000
family of computers, and now also runs in compatibility mode under MPE XL
without any loss of features or functionality.

FULL FUNCTIONALITY UNDER MPE XL 

TDP still offers the following :

 *  Integrated text and graphics.

 *  Powerful laser printing with the HP 2680A and HP 2688A.

 *  Integration with HP SPELL (also running in Compatibility Mode under
    MPE XL).

SUPPORTED WORKSTATIONS AND PRINTERS 

Under MPE XL, TDP supports a streamlined range of workstations and
printers that can be used with the product when running on a Series 930
or 950 :

CATALOG COMMAND AND FILE ACCESS INFORMATION 

Since file access/security information is not available under MPE XL, the
TDP CATALOG command will no longer provide information on the access
flags for a particular file.  It will, however, still show information on
the date last accessed, size, etc.
