Chapter 4  Setting Up PC Users 

This chapter tells you how to set up your Information Access users so
they can access ALLBASE/SQL, ORACLE, and INGRES tables through Access
SQL/iX. It covers the following topics:

   *   granting authorities to access ALLBASE/SQL tables

   *   granting privileges to access ORACLE tables

   *   accessing INGRES system catalogs

   *   connecting to remote ORACLE tables

   *   setting isolation levels

You do not have to grant special privileges to your Information Access
users who want to access INGRES tables through Access SQL/iX. The
privileges needed by INGRES are sufficient.
