Chapter 17  Integrated Preprocessor 

This chapter describes the Integrated Preprocessor, which is an extension
to the COBOL Compiler.  This activates a user-defined language processor,
which converts non-COBOL syntax to COBOL syntax.  An example of a
language processor that uses this facility is the CICS preprocessor,
supplied with the Micro Focus CICS Option add-on product in some
environments.
